Your names and your story
The names, story and other details you type into the swap-in form, the filters you pick and the timer all run inside your own browser. None of it is sent to us or anyone else, and it is gone once you close or reload the page. Copying a toast puts it on your own clipboard and nowhere else.
The visit counts we keep
There is no sign-up and no email list. A short script counts page opens, the site that sent you, how far down you scrolled, whether you used the toast finder and whether you tapped a link to the practice app. With each count it sends a random ID saved in your browser, a session number, your browser language and operating system, screen and window size, time zone, and a few signals that help separate real visitors from automated ones.
Where the counts are stored
Counts go first to this site's own server, which attaches your browser's user agent and the country of your connection, and then to an analytics provider that keeps them on servers inside the European Union. Your IP address is passed along so the provider can estimate country and region. We use the numbers only to learn which parts of the page help people. They are not sold and no advertiser receives them.
Cookies and local storage
This site sets no cookies. Your browser holds the random ID, a session number that expires after thirty quiet minutes, your color choice and, if you closed it, a note to keep the bottom bar hidden. Clearing the site data in your browser wipes all of it. With scripts blocked, the toasts still work and nothing is counted.
The app store links
Practice links point to /toast-test on this site. That address reads only your browser's user agent: Android devices go on to the Confidently page in Google Play, with the link's position added as a referrer, and every other device goes to the Confidently page in Apple's App Store. Nothing is recorded there. From that point the store's own privacy terms and the app's terms apply.
Removing your data
Send us an email and we will erase anything tied to your random ID. Since nothing here knows your name, clearing this site's data in your browser is the fastest way to cut the link yourself.
